Re: ET DK & List-Unsub Header - 2007/06/20 22:20 Al Iverson from ExactTarget here.

The list unsub is specified in RFC 2369 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2369.html), and is something you see a lot of list management tools and email service providers providing this header. It does come in handy to allow easy, automated unsubscribe functionality from a mail client plug-in or ISP functionality perspective. You don't see a ton of client-side support for it currently, but it's definitely starting to be more widely used, and is pretty much a best practice nowadays.

As far as DomainKeys (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DomainKeys) and DKIM, we do support both and have many clients signing currently. Not all clients are willing, able, or understand how to delegate a domain or subdomain to us so that we can sign their mail. We're in the midst of ongoing client education on this front. See our blog at http://blog.etdeliverability.com for more thoughts on authentication.
